Cape St Martin is only a stone throw away from Paternoster, Vredenburg, Veldrift, Jacobsbaai and many other small towns as well as places of interest.
We are well-situated for day visits to the West Coast National Park on Langebaan Lagoon and other nature reserves where birdwatcher’s can expect to tick off more than 200 species of birds!
The Flamingo Route allows you to many bird hides and the internationally renowned paleontological diggings at the nearby Fossil Park. Also a botanist’s dream, with free spring flower displays every year!

We would love to recommend nearby restaurants to spoil your taste buds with wonderful food. While you’re here, it’s time to explore the seafood route!
And of course there’s always something for the more daring enthusiasts, come dive the many wrecks in the refreshing ocean or swim with the dolphins.
Directions from Cape Town to Nautilus :Take the R27 from Cape Town and turn left at the R45 towards Vredenburg. Drive 8km and turn right on the R399 towards Veldrift. After 11km turn left on the St Helena Bay road. After approximately 15km (after you passed SPAR etc.) turn left again at the board indicating Shelly Point and Sea Trader. The Nautilus board is also on the right hand side.
Proceed on this road until a 1km good ground road is encountered. Also find the Nautilus board (together with the SeaTrader board) on the left hand side of the road.
The Cape St Martin Private Nature Reserve turnoff is well sign posted to the right. On entering the Nature Reserve, the Britannia Close gate is the first on the right with a Nautilus board on the left hand side, indicating you to turn right at the gate. Phone for gate access.
